Scenarios USA at the MoCADA Film Festival
Save the date
MoCADA (Brooklyn, NY) will show our latest
short films every Friday
night in August as part of their 10th
Anniversary Film
Festival, in conjunction with other
youth-oriented films.
August 7: Misunderstood
August 14: MANChild
August 21: Bitter

Coming soon: "What's the REAL DEAL?" writing contest
We will be launching our "What's the REAL
DEAL about Masculinity?" story, play and
script writing contest in
September 2009. Students in grades 6-12
living in New York City, Region One in Texas
or Cleveland, OH are eligible to participate.
Winners will be partnered with Hollywood
filmmakers to make our next set of short films!
Educators in those three regions should
contact Scenarios
USA in August about
upcoming workshops.

Scenarios USA at Provincetown Film Festival
Provincetown International Film
Festival invited Amina Felder and Tiauna
Clark, co-writers of our film Misunderstood,
to
participate in their Youth and Diversity
Panel on
June 20th. Two of our other films, Bitter
Memories, and
MANchild,
were also screened. Scenarios USA Alumni
Director
Alison Maclean ( Jesus' Son,
The Tudors), who
directed our film The
Choices We Make, kindly joined us for the
panel too. To
those of you who attended our screening -
thanks for supporting us!
