Calling Texas Actors

Do you know any students (or adults) that might be interested in auditioning for our film? Please feel free to pass this along to your students, colleagues, neighbors, friends etc.

We are encouraging South Texas Actors (both adults and youth) to submit or post auditions to us. Below is a description of the characters. If you feel you meet one of the descriptions, please take a look at the scenes and the “Blue Print” Audition Resources at the bottom of the page for how we would like them videoed. You can mail us a MiniDV tape, DVD, CD or upload your digital .mov, .avi, .swf or .mpeg file (100mb max) via: http://www.yousendit.com/

Tony: Hispanic male, about 17 years old. Tall, thin, and casual-looking. Smart but easily frustrated.

Carmen: Hispanic female, about 30-40 years old. Exhausted/tired looking.

Aracely: Hispanic female, about 7 years old. Smart-mouthed and sassy with a big imagination.

Mr. Zepeda: Hispanic male about 35-50 years old. Wise, yet sly look to him. Genuinely caring for his students

Manny: Hispanic male, about 18 years old—not a very good friend
