Kristen's passion is bringing people together to work for a common goal that helps a community, and if that means bringing about change, Kristen rolls up her sleeves and makes it happen. Kristen's worked for non-profit organizations since she graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1991. She worked in West Africa to mobilize government officials to take action on HIV/AIDS and other reproductive health issues. And on the US/Mexico border, Kristen helped start a self-help housing program with Habitat for Humanity. She also loves to travel and has lived in Australia, Japan, Portugal, Mexico and Senegal.
Maura likes a good story. So, she went into film and television. For 12 years Maura has worked in all aspects of film from getting coffee to yelling "Action!" She's produced programs you've probably watched on Discovery, A/E, or the History Channels. She also worked with "The Man" himself – Steven Spielberg as the East Coast Director of his non-profit, The Shoah Foundation. The Shoah Foundation, which gathered personal testimonies from 50,000 Holocast survivors, showed Maura the power of telling a story. Everyone's got one, which is why she does what she does at Scenarios USA.
